Our Homeschool Hybrid Program

Lower Elementary | Upper Elementary | Middle School | High School

Some students need more than a traditional school can offer. More flexibility. More depth. More connection between what they're learning and why it matters. Our Homeschool Hybrid Program is built for them.

This is a rigorous, inspiring education that combines the best of Montessori academics with the freedom to pursue real-world learning beyond the classroom — on your family's terms, at your student's pace.

The Philosophy

Education That Meets Students Where They Are

Montessori understood something essential about adolescence: it is not a phase to be managed. It is one of the most formative periods of human development — a time when young people are searching for purpose, identity, and real contribution to the world around them.

Our program takes that seriously. Rather than asking students and children to sit still and absorb information, we ask them to do meaningful work, lead with initiative, and connect what they study to something real. The result is students who don't just know things — they know why things matter and what to do with that knowledge.

Academic excellence is non-negotiable here. So is preparing young people to navigate a complex, changing world with adaptability, integrity, and confidence.

The Schedule

Students attend on campus 2.5 days each week, engaging in classes, labs, seminars, and collaborative projects with their guide and peers. The remaining time forms the home-school portion of the program — independently designed by families, or co-designed in collaboration with our experienced adolescent guides to include internships, independent study, creative projects, or other purposeful learning.

This structure is intentional. It gives students the community and accountability of a school environment while building the self-direction and time management skills they will rely on for the rest of their lives.

What Students Do

Core Elements of the Program

Montessori Academics
Mastery-based learning in mathematics, science, humanities, and language arts. Students progress at their own pace within a structured, high-expectation framework.

Project-Based Learning
Six-week learning cycles tackle real-world problems and often blend multiple disciplines. Students might research environmental policy, design and launch a product, produce a documentary, or build a business plan from the ground up.

Community and Leadership
Student-led meetings, collaborative decision-making, and cross-age mentoring are built into daily life. Students don't just participate in their community — they shape it.

Micro-Economy and Occupations
Gardening, entrepreneurship, animal care, and service work give students practical skills and the experience of contributing meaningfully to something larger than themselves. This is Montessori's occupational model in action — work that builds character alongside competence.

Mentorship
Our guides are trained not just in academics but in adolescent development. They know these students as individuals — their strengths, their growing edges, and what they need to move forward. That relationship is at the center of everything.

Is it Right for Your Family?

This Program Is a Good Fit If...

Your student is ready for more ownership over their learning than a traditional school allows. Your family values flexibility without sacrificing rigor. You want your child to graduate not just with a diploma, but with real skills, real experiences, and a real sense of purpose.

If that sounds like your family, we'd love to talk.
