Part Time Programs at Mara Montessori Collective

You chose part time because you know your child best.

You value flexibility, meaningful family time and the freedom to educate in a way that reflects who your child actually is. At Mara, we believe those same values belong at the heart of an exceptional education.

Our Part Time Programs pair with authentic Montessori together in a true partnership. Your time with your child stays yours, we simply strengthen it.

What Your Child Will Experience

Real Montessori. Every day.

Each child moves at their own pace through carefully prepared lessons that build curiosity, independence and critical thinking. There are no one-size-fits-all expectations here. Our guides meet every child exactly where they are and move them forward from there.

Our classrooms are filled with authentic Montessori materials, art, science exploration, practical life, outdoor learning and meaningful collaborative work. Technology is introduced only when it genuinely adds value.

A community where they belong. Children build real friendships with peers who get it. They join a Montessori community that values kindness, curiosity, courage and respect. And they do it in environments designed to feel warm, peaceful and welcoming; more like a home than a school.

Your Home.
Your Rhythm.
Our Partnership.

How It Works

Parents are a child's first and most important teacher. Our role is not to replace the time with your child, it strengthens it.

The 2.5 days on campus and the remaining home-based days are connected through ongoing collaboration between our guides and your family. Your guide provides individualized lesson plans and materials aligned to your child's development and you retain full flexibility to shape home days around your family's life.

Families new to part time programs find structure and confidence here. Experienced families find community and authentic Montessori materials they cannot easily replicate at home. Both find exactly what they were looking for.

Parent-Child Programs

At Mara Montessori Collective, our Parent-Child classes invite families to learn and grow together in a warm, prepared Montessori environment. Guided by a trained Montessori guide, each class offers your child a space to explore at their own pace, while you learn to observe, support, and connect more deeply with your child's natural development.

Infant/Toddler

Ages: Birth – 33 months

Monday & Tuesday, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

For your child:

Your little one learns alongside you in a supportive, consistent environment, building trust through real relationships with their guide and the other families in the room. Every session is designed for their stage of development, weaving in movement, hand-eye coordination and sensory experiences that feel natural. And through it all, you are right there as their steady, loving touchstone as they begin to discover what they can do on their own.

For you:

You gain practical guidance from a trained Montessori guide who helps you see your child with fresh eyes, alongside a community of parents navigating this same stage. You also take home something less tangible but just as valuable — new ways of observing, responding and tuning into what your child actually needs.

For your family & community:

What begins in the classroom does not stay there. The trust and independence your child builds grow with them and the skills and insight you gain as a parent travel into everyday life, shaping how your family learns and grows together long after the program ends.

Young Child Class

Ages: 33 months – 5 years

Monday & Tuesday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

For your child:

Your child takes the lead, choosing their own work within a carefully prepared environment that spans Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, Art and Culture. This freedom builds real autonomy, ownership and confidence, all within a warm social community of peers and guides who know them well.

For you:

You learn alongside your child, deepening your understanding of the Montessori approach through observation and discovery rather than instruction. Along the way you find a community of like-minded parents who are on the same journey.

For your family & community:

What grows here is a parent-child relationship rooted in mutual respect and a love of learning that does not stop when you leave campus.

Adolesent

For your child:

At this stage, your role shifts. You stay informed and involved without carrying the full weight of it alone.

For you:

Choose the schedule that works for your family — Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday — with guidance from Montessori-trained guides who help shape advanced, student-paced coursework. The support is tailored to your family's unique homeschool journey every step of the way.

For your family & community:

Your teen gets a rigorous, personalized education that respects their independence and pace, within a community of families who are equally invested in meaningful, applied learning that goes well beyond the textbook.

Elementary

Grades: Kindergarten - 6

Our Elementary Hybrid Homeschool program blends the flexibility of homeschooling with the structure and richness of a Montessori education. Guided by trained Montessori teachers, students engage in hands-on academic lessons two days a week, with an optional third day for practical life and enrichment activities.

For your child:

Your child engages with authentic Montessori materials through tactile, hands-on lessons that bring math, science, history, grammar and writing to life through the Five Great Lessons framework. Individual and small-group instruction builds critical thinking and problem-solving skills, alongside daily reading and enrichment activities that deepen understanding across every subject.

For you:

Choose the schedule that fits your family — Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday — with ongoing support from guides who help with curriculum selection and planning for home days. The guidance is tailored to your family's unique homeschool journey, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

For your family & community:

Your child gets a personalized education that moves at their pace and fits your homeschool rhythm, all within a nurturing Montessori community of families who understand exactly what you are building at home.
